PROBUS – WHO WE ARE
We are a Club in North Petherton which exists to enhance the friendships and companionships of people (Men and Women) in retirement.
We meet on the second Wednesday each month at North Petherton Community Hall and enjoy the variety of talks we are entertained with each time. In between we offer trips out to different events and venues which are very varied in time, distance and interest.
We have the usual short meeting/catch up on the news etc which is quite relaxed before each talk and a free coffee/tea with biscuits.
We are quite a lively group of people from all backgrounds, so we have a good cross section of the local community among us.
For anyone of retirement age who think they may be interested in visiting us, don’t hesitate, as we offer 3 free meetings before we ask if you wish to join us as a member. Our annual fee is not expensive, this year for the third year running we have kept subscriptions to £30 for the year, which goes towards hall hire, speakers etc.
